RE: Problem with HTC HD2

Hi, Since Franson is not reacting at all and I need to move forward i did a bit of browsing on the internet for alternatives and guess what. 32Feet is offering bluetooth libraries for Microsoft and Widcomm for Free!!! I tested their latest version on HTC HD2 and it works. I will now move my Franson ...

RE: Problem with HTC HD2

Hi I tried to contact Franson directly but it seems they just ignore our requests. The problem is that a lot of new phones appear on the market that do not work with Franson Bluetools. I am already investigating if other software is available that does support Widcomm stacks. But i would hope that F...

RE: not work on WM6.5 HTC touch 2

Hi

It would be nice to know if Franson is going to update their Bluetools software for the latest mobile phones using the newer WidComm stack. I am having similar problems with the HTC Touch HD2.

Regards

Peter

RE: Problem with HTC HD2

Hi I haven't heard back from anyone if other people have problems with the HTC HD2 phone? They use a new CPU and i have the feeling that all new 1GHz phones flooding the market soon will NOT work properly with the Franson bluetools. I believe it is worthwhile for Jonas/Franson to invest some time in...

RE: Problem with HTC HD2

Hi

I did some more testing trying the various BlueToolsWC.dll files but it does not solve the problem. It seems that the new Widcomm stack used on HTC HD2 does not work with the Franson Bluetools SDK. Maybe Franson can have a look at it and test their software on this HTC HD2 phone?

Thanks Peter

Problem with HTC HD2

Hi, I just got the HTC HD2 pda and trying my software on this device. It crashes on the loading of the Franson bluetools. This is the error "Failed to load stack driver (BlueToolsWC.dll). Reason: [193] (null)" I copied BluetoolsWC.dll and BluetoolsWC150.dll to my application folder but the problem p...

RE: App Exits without error

do a roll back to the old version of Franson bluetools. the latest one has a bug which Franson apparently cannot solve. The old version does not crash the application...

RE: App Exits without error

Hi, I did some serious testing here on my code with a lot of debug output and each time it crashes after the handler OnDeviceDiscoveryStarted. I never get to the OnDeviceDiscoveryCompleted handler. Sorry but there is something wrong with your new DLLs since it does not happen with the old ones. I ev...

RE: App Exits without error

Hi, I do a device discovery and use this code to check if a device discovery is in progress. Apparently this code does not work properly then: if (!network.DiscoveryPending) network.DiscoverDevicesAsync(); Any idea how to work around this? It worked fine in the 'old' Franson dlls so something must h...

RE: App Exits without error

Hi I am having exactly the same problem. I have upgraded to the latest Franson DLLs and erratically the application exists without throwing an exception. I am pretty sure there is a bug in the latest dlls. I downgraded my WM OS from 6.1 to 6 but that does not make a difference. I will do a rollback ...

RE: (Internal error) Failed to lookup the next service

I noticed a different behaviour in the new version. If i disconnect from a BT sensor and then initiate a network.DiscoverDevicesAsync(); the application crashes without giving any exception at all. I figured out that if i wait let's say 10 seconds the call network.DiscoverDevicesAsync() works proper...

RE: (Internal error) Failed to lookup the next service

I realised that i was still running Franson.BlueTools.200.CF.dll while using CF3.5 and WM6.1. Does that explain these errors? I am now upgrading to Franson.BlueTools.350.CF.dll which hopefully solves these problems.

(Internal error) Failed to lookup the next service

Hi, I get the following error if a bluetooth device is connected to my mobile phone (windows mobile 6 with MS stack) and then disconnects or is out of range for several minutes. My software will then continiously do a search for devices. After a while or eandomly i get an exception thrown by the Blu...

RE: Turn ON/OFF BT Device

Hi

Try this example from microsoft. Works perfectly for WM5.0 devices.

Changing the Bluetooth Radio Mode
