Problem with 0x00 in ActiveX SerialT. OnRead (C++)

Hi Franson support team, it seems to me that ActiveX SerialTools respond erroneusly to 0x00 character. When I was tracing data received in my code: void CModbusTestDlg::OnRead(VARIANT* Data) { _bstr_t bstr(*Data); LPCWSTR wstr = (LPCWSTR) bstr; WCHAR* wcptr = (WCHAR*) wstr; ... On data sent from ter...

RE: How to call ActiveX ByteArrayToString from C++

Hi Johan, Thank you! But, new problems arise. Code: WCHAR warray[] = {0x003f,0x00ac,0x0032,0}; _bstr_t bstr(warray); _variant_t data(bstr); _variant_t ret_val; m_hres = m_IPort->Write(data, &ret_val); m_check_err(); works fine sending 0x3f 0xac 0x32. The problem is when 0x00 is to be sent as data, b...

How to call ActiveX ByteArrayToString from C++

Hi Franson support team,

there are no instructions how to correctly call ActiveX ByteArrayToString from c++(MFC), neither in your SerialTools ReferenceManual, nor in your examples.

Please specify parameters and return value types, or give me an example.

Regards,

Dado
