RE: how to create virtual serial port as COM1-4?

Thanks a bunch, I just tried this on the laptop I have with me and it worked fine to specify a lower COM port as output. However, it's still somewhat strange. For example, I was able to add COM1, for some reason my machine already has a COM2, but I did not have the choice to add the virtual COM port...

RE: how to create virtual serial port as COM1-4?

Johan, thanks for your quick reply, good to see that you are still around, you were the one who answered my post on Coordtrans like 4 years ago. ;) Anyway, how exactly can I create a COM port in the lower range? It seems like it automatically creates new ports starting with COM6. I don't have the se...

I am essentially using GpsGate as "middleware", it receives the signal via USB and sends it out to a serial port. Is there any way I...

"out of UTM zone" conversions

I have some geographic coordinates would end up in UTM zone 6, however, I would like to convert those into UTM zone 5 coordinates. I realize they belong to 6, but I need them in 5. Is there any way to accomplish this? When I try to specify zone 5, it just automatically changes to 6 upon conversion. ...

Any word on this? We bought the site license to convert a bunch of coordinates on multiple machines and that it doesn't work is a bit of a set-back.

[Bug] 13N invalid zone for UTM North (wgs84)?

I am trying to convert some coordinates from UTM into Lat/Long The zone those are in are 13N (Colorado, USA). On the left side of CoordTrans I set the selection to Easting/Northing and United States. Grid: UTM North (wgs84) If I try to enter 13N into the Zone field it says "Invalid Zone for this gri...
