RE: My own local BT address ?

Any news on this? I also need to retrieve the MAC address of the bluetooth radio in the PPC and I also receive a Invalid License Exception.

RE: Failed to load driver

I have experienced this as well. The only answer I've found is that I get this problem when I already have too much loaded into memory. My application has a rather large memory consumtion. Perhaps Bluetools uses alot of memory upon initialization. Is this correct, franson-folks?

RE: BlueTools.dll not installed

I tried inserting the following line to check if I was using the right dll version.

Version v = Manager.BlueToolsVersion;

But now I get a missing method exception. The Franson.BlueTools.dll IS present in the library the executable is run from. I don't get it!!

RE: BlueTools.dll not installed

Hmmm, I've tried to re-install version 1.01 and use those dll's. That gave the same problem. It has worked earlier, though. I'm completely baffled. What exactly can cause this exception?

Any help will be appreciated!

BlueTools.dll not installed

We have made a PPC application that use bluetools to communicate with a bluetooth-enabled input device. Our application saves the address of the input device with which it "belongs". If no address has been saved, it searches for all compatible input devices in the area. With bluetools version 1.10 (...

Franson.BlueTools.dll version

Is it correct that Franson.BlueTools.dll should have version 1.0.2225.20006 in bluetools v1.10?

RE: Problem with Eten PDA

Is it possible to turn off/on the bluetooth radio from bluetools? I figured this might force a full initialization.

RE: Problem with Eten PDA

"When you said that you tried a sleep before the BlueTools initialization, you meant a sleep was the very first thing you did, even before the license initialization too right?"

Yes.

"D.S."

huh?

RE: Problem with Eten PDA

Is there anything I can do? Is it somehow possible to make our application load when the bt stack has been initialized? Perhaps thru some sort of event?

Yes, I've tried it on a Qtek 9090 and a iPaq h6340, and it works fine one both.

RE: Problem with Eten PDA

Our application is launched from a second application that is placed in the windows/startup. I have inserted a sleep of 60 seconds in this application and this works most of the time. I have tried it 10 times now and it has failed 3 times. This is obviously not satisfying. Is there anything I can do?

RE: Problem with Eten PDA

Well, that's the strange thing. Even though I start the application manually as soon as the PDA is ready it almost always works properly. It has failed a few times, though. But when the application autostart it always fails. Even with a sleep(120000) (2 minutes).
