Re: Mobile Interface Logs users out immediately....

Hi, Previous post is true, but highly misleading! I've noticed now the desktop interface isn't working either, and the browser (image attached) gives more information with the message 'Service Unavailable' at each one. The only message that doesn't seem like an error when VehicleTracer.aspx is loade...

Mobile Interface Logs users out immediately....

After several years using GpsGate server without issue, users noticed this morning that they were logged out immediately on logging in using the mobile interface. I checked SystemTools/Activity on the site admin applications and the user login attempts are noted with login duration 00:00:01. I tried...

Goolge Maps Error when server accessed over VPN

Our GPS gate server is not accessible from the internet, but users sometimes access the server over our VPN. For some reason we can only use Bing Maps or Open Layers maps when accessing over the VPN. Attempts to use Google Maps doesn't work. After briefly flashing the correct map on the screen the m...

RE: GUIDE: Backup and restore GpsGate Server

Hi, Wow - that worked flawlessly, I just migrated from an old machine to a new virtual machine inside our new server. As I followed the flow as instructed and created the database before installing GpsGateServer on the new machine I needed to install MySQL without the assistance of the Gpsgate insta...

RE: NEW FEATURE: Publish map on homepage

Fredrik Thanks for the quick response, and I understand its a Beta function. Yes I have the latest plugin. I will send a couple of screenshots by email where you can see the full calling stack. If you can't work out what is going on from the screenshot I can probably run up a test server with a logi...

RE: NEW FEATURE: Publish map on homepage

I have an issue with this plugin. Having followed the instructions to activate the plug-in and the role (and including _Anonymous_Login as advised in this thread), I get as far as the 'Publish Devices' screen but when I press 'next' after selecting the screen size, nothing happens and the next step ...

RE: FEATURE: Android device tracking

Just a quick note to other users of this app from my experience, in case it helps. I set up the device mapper in the admin pages (Devices/types/DeviceMapper) so that I can see data such as battery voltage as well as MCC/MNC/LAC and Cell ID. The latter can be useful for basic tracking when GPS signal...

RE: FEATURE: Android device tracking

Hello, I would like to be able to configure the app like a normal tracker, i.e. location updates every 10secs as long as you are more than 30m from the last location and/or if the bearing changes by 30 degrees or so. With the app my (limited) experience is that the locations are as good as a normal ...
