Re: Filter Track Points By GeoFence

There are two ways u can go about.

1.) Device Level: Get a device that gives u conditional tracking.

2.) GpsGate Level: Or use tracking schedule feature in GpsGate. Here: https://support.gpsgate.com/hc/en-us/articles/360005126893-Tracking-Schedule

Hope this helps.

Show Event Rule Count in Status Panel for each vehicle.

I want to display Event Rule Count for each vehicle.

for ex: If there's an event say Ignition = True then every time the Event is triggered, a status variable like "IgnitionCount" should increase by 1.

How do I go about this ?

GpsGate compatibility with Amazon Aurora.

Hi, Has anyone here tried using GpsGate on Amazon Aurora instead of MySQL ? @Johan: Aurora claims to be 5x faster than MySQL and 1/10th of the cost. Besides the cost, since we are looking to use AWS, Can you please share your comments and views on setting up GpsGate on AWS Lightsail + Amazon Aurora ...

Our current setup allows us to deploy about 800 devices /server and we usually keep at 60% resource utlization, allowing enough resource for later advancements. I want to go with the AWS but M skeptical on costing given ...

Scaling with Azure or AWS

Hi,

Has anyone tried scaling the GpsGate server with AWS or Azure?

What has been your experience of the scaling ?

My specific requirement is to understand cost of scaling the one instance to 10,000+ units.

Efficient way to Count Number of trips in close proximity operations

What is the most efficient and accurate way of trip counting in mining where vehicles work under close proximity ? We are trying to build a solution for our customer for counting number of trips by a tipper ? There are approx 50+ tippers served by about 10 excavators. Each tipper goes to an excavato...

I have a customer with Pointer CR200B devices. I need to migrate him to our GpsGate infrastructure. Can someone help me with re-configuration instructions or manuals to take these devices on my GpsGate server.

Thanks.

RE: iButton and Concox gt06n

iButton can be added to devices that support 1-wire protocol. Try using ATrack AL1 or something similar. GT06N is not designed for application that require external sensors and accessories.

RE: License question

From the user/vehicle, Remove the Role _Unit. That will release the license.

Further, Any use with privilege "_DeviceLogin" will consume a license. _Unit role has this privilege.

Hope this helps.
