RE: Calamp gprs commands

One more thing: I recommend that you add logic in your PEG script to check in with PULS when certain triggers occur. Popular triggers are: "Ignition Off' and 'Wake Up'

RE: Calamp gprs commands

Sending binary data using GpsGate Commands is an advanced topic and it is required that you understand the CalAmp LM Direct protocol. You have to use the Unit Request Message (Message Type 7). There are 25 action codes and each action code have up to 3 parameters (7 bytes): Data, Data16 and Data32. ...

RE: Calamp gprs commands

No,you can't send AT commands over UDP, but there are equivalent SMS commands. For example: !R3,49,129 is the SMS equivalent of AT$APP PEG ACTION 49 129

What are you trying to do?

RE: CalAmp, Driver Behavior Accumulators.

The mapping of acceleration values to accumulators are done in your CalAmp PEG script. You can place them in any accumulator and then use the mapper to assign it to variables in GpsGate.

I tested the static IP option with CalAmp and it works perfectly. Thanks for adding this feature!

UDP Socket from Server to Device

Does anyone know how to establish a UDP socket from the Server-to-Device using a Template Command? Our tracking devices have static IPs.

When a connection is initiated by the device, the Server-Device commands work perfectly, but it doesn't work once the connection timed out.

RE: Web at android

You can't show tracks with the mobile view (http://your_server/m/). However, you can force your android device (if it is a tablet) to open the desktop view (http://your_server) by clicking the "Request desktop site" in your browser.

RE: GUIDE: Script Notifiers

I was testing setting the marker color using a script notifier, but it doesn't work as expected. When setting the marker color at the start of an event it sets it globally. In other words all historic tracks are now the new color. After resetting the color at the end of the event, it sets it globall...

RE: GUIDE: Script Notifiers

Thanks for the update Kerem. Yes, it will be needed to reset the color back to the initial color when the event finished, otherwise we are forced to always use the same marker color. Which is the right parameter to use for setting the marker color to red: a) Map.setMarkerColor('#FF0000') or b) Map.s...

Happy to see that setMarkerColor was included in the final release. How do we reset the Marker Color after the event finished?
