RE: comport buffersize larger than 1024

Yes, now it compiles ! I had used the .NET CF dll instead of the .NET dll. I appreciate your fast reply ! One final doubt. I gone through the c-code and the only lines I have changed in order to get a larger buffersize are the if sentences to the message boxes. Are further changes needed ? D:\franso...

RE: comport buffersize larger than 1024

I understand it is not a graphics library. But the project compiled perfectly before I exchanged the original dll with the new dll, compiled with the code I bought.

It does not matter that the dll is compiled with C # and my project is in VB ?

When I reference to the new serialnet.dll I get a number of new errors all linked to drawing as shown below. Is it because the dll is compiled with C and my code is VB ? D:\IoC-View ICU...

RE: serial port in Vista

One option could be that you try to write a log file in a position where Vista does not allow it. Vista is much more strict than XP where you can create files with a program.

Buffersize

Hi,

Why is it only possible to read 1024 bytes with the command

port.read

when the actual buffersize of a pocket PC is much bigger ?

Best regards

CTS & RTS voltage

Hi,

I have an RS 232 serial communication (cable) application running from my iPAQ 4150 to a device.

I need to provide power to the device. If I write (in VB CF)

port.rts=true

will that produce a constant output voltage ? And which ?

speed of serial tools

Dear Franson I have bought the serial tools license for my PDA CF and I am programming in VB. I want to download data from a device. If I read 1000 bytes/s at a speed of 115200 bauds then everything is fine. But if I read 5 bytes at a time then the communication is very slow. The code is the followi...
