Broadcom GNSS Geolocation Sensor

Wed Feb 20, 2013 11:21 pm

does GPSGate support the Broadcom GNSS Geolocation Sensor, which is installed in my Lenovo Tablet 2 (Windows 8)? It is classified as a "GPS-Sensor" in the Devices Manager of Windows 8 and has no Port attached to. In the Microsoft Bing Map App it does work perfectly, as I do get my location properly. Unfortunately, I can't connect it to my Fugawi Moving Map-Software, as this requires a COM Port for the GPS. I therefore wonder if GPSGate could do the trick and get the data from this Broadcom GNSS Geolocation sensor in order to transform it into a vitual COM Port ?

Thanks, Charles

Me too, except I'm on a Dell Latitude 10 tablet on Windows 8 pro. same Broadcom sensor, same need for a virtual com port.
