Wed Mar 24, 2010 9:30 pm

I am having a little trouble with the data strings I am receiving. Can you tell me how to see the byte data and how to receive in byte data format instead of string? I am using vb.net for developement.

Here is the code that produces this.

Private Sub objPort_OnRead(ByVal data) Handles objPort.OnRead
Dim i, mybyte, mystr
mybyte = objPort.StringToByteArray(data)

For i = 0 To UBound(mybyte)
mystr = mystr & Chr(mybyte(i))
TextBox1.Text = TextBox1.Text & " " & mystr
Next

End Sub

Return to “SerialTools”
