Hello Andrew,

A "chat" function would be a great addition to the dispatch plugin.

Thanks for the suggestions, we are always looking to improve our features. Forming routes from different sources is something we will add to the UI over time. We want to be cautious about adding more fields to the Jobs and Routes and instead prefer to come up with a generic solution for use cases like this where you can customise your own fields.

Thanks and regards,

Hi J.Kesoe,

We have the Chat plugin for open ended discussion between workers and operators. You can see more information on this at our blog post for the plugin: http://gpsgate.com/blogComment/chat_plugin

Hi grigor,

We currently have limited event rule expressions for the Dispatch plugin but it is something we can bear in mind for future development. We are likely to introduce features centred around the time property of jobs in the future. Possible candidates are things like job and route scheduling, scheduled dispatching of jobs and routes and alerts based on the completion time of jobs.

You are able to track how well workers adhere to your routes in the software today by creating a Route Geofence (more information here: http://gpsgate.com/blogComment/route_geofence) around your route and using the Geofence related event rule expressions.

Andrew

Hi,

Proposition for the plugin:

1. Pick-up unsigned jobs and add to route directly form map or by selecting from menu under right click when route window opened.

2. Could you consider to add optional signature field in the mobile dispatch beside command when complete job selected.

3. Job scheduler, something like calendar.

4. Possibility to print out route with jobs on paper us a backup for driver.

Best regards
Kris

Hi Kriskri,

1) We can look at adding an option to the right click context menu. For now, you can just drag unassigned jobs from the dispatch panel "Unassigned" job list into the job list in the Route to add them and save yourself some clicks.

2) Could you elaborate on this a little, describing your use case?

3) We agree and this is something we would like to add in the future.

4) We can definitely look at making printing the list easier for a future release.

Andrew

Hello.
Seems that STATE column in route is not updating like a simple job. When you click accept or complete, the column will stay blank.
best regards!

Hi GRACO,

Could you explain a little more what you mean? I am not sure which state column you are referring to.

In the JOB LIST window, there is column called State. Using routes will not update when the operator accepts the job.
Best regards!

Hello. I think we found a bug-
- Create a Route using POI
- Save it
- Delete the POI's used when you created the Route.
- Try to Edit route

Will show a screen without data, cannot close and need to refresh the complete page.

Best regards!

Hi Support,

When I open Help/explanation on CSV format for Import Jobs on Dispatch panel. I found GpsGate keyword like
This is the ID of the job in your own systems. This must be unique for each job you wish to create in GpsGate Server Dispatch. If you import a job with an externalid that GpsGate Server ......

Can you please remove every "GpsGate" word and maybe change it into Gps for white label?

Thank you.

Best Regards,
