GpsGateServer installation compatible with IIS Express v10?

Mon Nov 20, 2017 12:36 pm

I have migrated my GpsGateServer from a Windows XP (!) machine to a Windows 10 (x64) machine using the process described in http://forum.gpsgate.com/viewtopic.php?t=13322
Addressing localhost/GpsGateServer/SiteAdmin/ from Firefox on the new machine, I am unable to access the new server. IIS Express does not appear to be running. Is the GpsGateServer installation compatible with IIS Express v10.0, which I have installed?
regards
Dave

Realising that my Windows 10 includes IIS (see http://forum.gpsgate.com/viewtopic.php?t=18378), after uninstalling GpsGateServer, I uninstalled IIS Express. Then after enabling the various Windows features as identifed in that thread and reinstalling GpsGateServer, GpsGateServer is accessible :)
