64bit Vista Support

Wed Dec 31, 2008 12:02 am

Hi,

I wonder if BlueTools is supported on Vista 64bit OS.
If not, is there any workaround?

thanks.

Jonas,

Can you please provide more details on this.
Is there any 64bit version on the roadmap?
Do you know what is the source of the library crash on vista 64 bit?

thanks.

There is no 64-bit version planned at this time.
It doesn't work since a 64-bit system requires a 64-bit DLL and stack library.

Now with so many 64bit instances on the market (all the big vedures have some models that comes only in 64bit) - you must put it on your road map... :)

You have wonderful line of products, is a pitty if teh clients will need to go else where...

I'm just passing to a new Sony Vaio Win7 64bit... I dont know if I will keep my old PC or install VS on a virtual machine... none of the options is too appealing...

64 Bit is a deal breaker for us. Moving along to another library until you have it.

Do you have to do much more than recompile? Products that are difficult to switch to 64 bit are usually ones that include actual device drivers.

64-bit is also getting to be a dealbreaker for us. Does anyone have any suggestions about alternate libraries, since we're likely going to have to switch?

Thanks.
