Hi People,

I am trying to configure my X1 Plus unit through hyper text com port. This is a what i get.

$ST+COMM=0000,3,Web.digicel.samoa.ws,1,10.10.1.6,6090,180
$OK:COMM
$ER:STD=0
$MSG:Ready
$ER:STD=0
$MSG:Ready
$ER:STD=0
$MSG:Ready
$ER:STD=0
$MSG:Ready
$ER:STD=0
$MSG:Ready
$ST+UNPM=0000,030777479,7,7,7,7,1
$OK:UNPM
$ER:STD=0
$MSG:Ready
$ER:STD=0
$ST+TRACKING=0000,1,60,0,0,1,3
$ER:TRACKING=1
$MSG:Ready
$ER:STD=0
$MSG:Ready
$ER:STD=0

I assume that both ST COMM and ST UNPM are OK but when i entered the ST TRACKING command it says an Error TRACKING=1 which i can't find on the X1 Plus protocal manual.

Has anyone encountered this before or better yet. Does anyone know that the problem is?.

STD=0 is very common error if:
- the simcard is not readable (like SMS Memory problems or registration problems while initializing)
or the Unit can not get a carrier at all (GSM Modul failed)

try to Reset the unit first by send in therminal $ST+RESET=0000

leave the conection open ..
if the unit show $Startup
and MSG Ready
then type the comm Command again
after COMM Confirmed Reboot the unit (this is very important .. because the unit does NOT do this automatic via Cable (only if the COMM Command comes via GPRS or SMS)

after $MSG:Ready (again)
send all other commands.
