RE: Mutiple connections [more than 7]

BlueTools only support one dongle, and no stacks works very good with more than 2-3 connections at the same time.

RE: reading a continous string of ascii.

You have to post some code showing us what you have done so far. Without it any help will be purely guessing...

The closest you can get is Network.RadioStatus.

RE: EndWrite must be called error

It's not working because you are doing this: currentStream.BeginWrite(asc.GetBytes(strNewName), 0, strNewName.Length, new AsyncCallback(writeCallback), currentStream); strNewName = "FRIENDLYNAME " + e.NewText.ToString() + "\r\n"; currentStream.BeginWrite(asc.GetBytes(strNewName), 0, strNewName.Lengt...

RE: How to close connection.

You should only use Manager.Dispose() when you are done using the stack altogether (i.e. on application shutdown).

If you just want to close the connection just Close the Stream.

RE: List already paired Devices

I thought all devices that were already paired/bonded would already be in the Devices array?

RE: Bluetooth is Disabled on Windows Mobile 6.1 Profes

It doesn't seem like the MC70 support anything other than StoneStreet, which means BlueTools can't be used on the device.

RE: Bluetooth is Disabled on Windows Mobile 6.1 Profes

Hmm, Motorola MC55 seems to be supporting both MS stack and something called StoneStreet stack. Are you sure it's using the MS stack? Using a registry editor, navigate to the following: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\SymbolBluetooth Edit the following key: “SSStack”=dword:1 where: 0 = disable StoneStr...

RE: Lost device/service still registered as exist

The service is probably cached. Since bluetooth services roam a lot, services are cached frequently even at the core level. That means you might see services that really "are not there".

RE: "Bluetools.dll not installed" for Widcom stack

You are probably forcing the manager to load Widcomm but the Widcomm stack is not installed or for some reason not loading properly. It is usually the best case to let the manger auto-detect the stack it should use. If it doesn't load Widcomm automatically it won't change anything by forcing StackID...

RE: .SNK File in SMS Tool

The source is available in the zip-file, you shouldn't need the snk-file to build it.
But in any case, you're better off building your own SMS class.

You can probably have two services running at once, but you can probably not send a file back without any prompt for authentication or acceptance.

Probably doesn't work on the newer Widcomm stack on the HTC Touch.
But that's just a guess.
